Meet the Team

Dr. Kaycie Miller, DVM

Born and raised in Panama City, FL, Dr. Miller is a true Floridian native. Growing up in the panhandle, Dr. Miller had the unique pleasure of riding everything under the sun.

Beginning her equine career at a young age on hunter horses, she slowly found her way to the western performance horse world, and settled into a niche of barrel horses before attending college. During this evolution, she also found a secondary love in production animal medicine, and became heavily involved in the cattle industry. Collegiately, she attended the University of Florida for both her undergraduate and veterinary schooling, and is a proud Double Gator!

Given her background, Dr. Miller has a special interest in performance horses. Furthermore, she has a large professional interest in upper airways and gastrointestinal systems.

When not working, Dr. Miller can be found exploring the springs of Florida, running, in the gym, or traveling to the farthest corners of the world that she can reach with her human, Reid.

Danielle LaMarre, CVT and Office Manager

Danielle was born and raised in Niceville, FL where she was deeply involved in her local 4H community. From a young age, she gained a plethora of hands-on experience raising, showing and handling a variety of species. Danielle quickly realized that her true passion lied with equestrian sports and the horse.

She began showing western pleasure, and slowly migrated through the disciplines until she found three-day eventing where her fire was further ignited with the sport horse. Through her time as a working student and trainer, Danielle realized that developing the young horse was a skill and special interest. This dedication to the next generation of sport horses led to a growing interest in equine reproduction, and inspired her to begin breeding Warmbloods.

Driven to deepen her impact within the equine industry, Danielle pursued a Veterinary Technology degree at St. Petersburg College and earned her CVT certification. Now, she combines her clinical training with her interest as often as possible, dedicating her career to supporting the health and performance of sport horses.

When not answering communications or on the truck, Danielle can be found living a quiet life–caring for her horses, heading off to horse shows, getting lost in a good book, or enjoying the Choctawhatchee River with her human half, Caleb.

Reid Hatcher, Practice Manager

Reid Hatcher was born and raised in Bonifay, FL. Rather than finding his initial love in four-legged horsepower, Reid elected for gears instead. Despite being a gearhead, Reid grew up on a large farming operation and obtained many core skills at an early age harvesting pecans and working cows and pigs alongside his family.

Reid has been employed as a skilled journeyman lineman for the last 13 years prior to beginning his career as veterinary technician, practice manager, driver, and business partner extraordinare alongside Dr. Miller. During that time, Reid also served in the United States Marine Corps as a member of the Third Force Reconnaissance Company.

Reid has special interests in emergency medicine and critical care, and greatly enjoys meeting all patients, big and small.

When not working, Reid can be found lifting weights in the gym, skydiving, swimming and diving Florida’s springs and open waters, exploring any cliff or cave that he might find, and enjoying his specially built Corvette. Reid is Dr. Miller’s trusted companion on the road, and in life, and joins her for any and all adventures that she can force him into.
